Now I have a horn that works, as my “wolo bad boy” fell off the Matrix and started getting dragged on the freeway. It is now very loud with a very serious tone.

How’s the quality? I’ve been wanting something to let the soccer moms and Bros I’m next to them when they inevitability try and run me off the road.

The sound is a combo of high and low tones and it is LOUD. All metal construction. I was in desperate need of an effective horn as the dipshits around where I commute to work drive like BMW drivers but with Camry levels skills

Did you install both? Also did you use the relay, or just wire it to the existing wiring?

I’d be worried about sccs with mild steel and stainless connected to each other. Especially if they use salt in the area. If you can find it monel should be a good option, or mild steel and painted.

I installed both to the existing wires in series.

You mean the Philips bolts surrounding the enclosure? I am planning to change them all to stainless Allen bolts.

Cool. The reviews said it got louder with the relay, but if it’s already loud... I was looking for a simple install sounds like it’s working.

I’d be careful mixing regular steel and stainless. But it’s not structural. Would be a cool job for plastidip.

ha ha, you’re right, but since you’ll never take it appart again and its not structural I wouldn’t worry to much.
What do you do for a living where you have that on the top of your mind?

I am a system administrator by trade. But used to be a rock climber, and work with metal on my spare time(nothing fancy, making tools and furniture). All those play into my interests somewhat.

Yeah they were pretty lame when I put mine on plugged into stock wiring. I then ran them with the stock plug activating a relay to give them full power and they are CRAZY loud.

There are better ones, but I chose these because they were loud, I like the design, and I like how it doesn’t have an air compressor strapped to the back.

No, like I don’t understand the trend of putting these colored horns on period. Is it looks? Are they actually louder? I find my stock ones more than adequate for normal driving.

I have a pretty dense grille, so you can’t see it at all (especially when the second one is pointing down). The OEM Matrix ones aren’t loud and are sorta Pippy. These are loud with a high/low tone combo that kicks ass.
